Paper Composite Panels
Paper Composite panels have become a popular material for interior and exterior architectural surfaces. This durable, waterproof material can provide superior performance for interior wall paneling, furniture and millwork applications located in high impact areas.
Paper Composite panels are made by applying heat and pressure to kraft and decorative papers that have been saturated with resin, Paper choices range from 100% post-consumer recycled to FSC decorative craft. The choice of paper, along with the saturation of either a phenolic or melamine resin, will determine the color of the panel. Phenolic resins used in production have been formulated to meet or exceed all global emission standards, including US HUD, European EMB, and Japanese standards, as well as specifications recommended by the Green Building Council and the State of California.
Paper Composite is a material that offers excellent qualities, both functional and aesthetic. Its resistance to wear and water, its hygienic properties, as well as its versatility in machining and assembly make it the ideal material for self-supporting furniture systems. It is a perfect model of strength and design. With its inherently clean looks and proven structural reliability, it is wonderfully suited for contemporary design.
Paper Composite is a healthy alternative building material that does not pollute the environment. Neither asbestos nor heavy metals are used during the production cycle; it does not emit gases, vapors, solvents or liquid substances. And most noteworthy, renewable, as well as recycled raw materials represent a significant percentage of its composition.
